The Sports Section
This page has stuff about the different sports teams/players that I like.

Uconn Huskies

www.uconnhuskies.com I have been a fan of Uconn Women's Basketball since 1995. This past season, the Huskies went 39-0 and won the National Championship. I put in a link to the official site, but there are many other good sites where you can find info about the Huskies. (like the one linked under the WNBA photos)

Lleyton Hewitt

www.lleytonhewitt.biz Lleyton Hewitt is a tennis player. He is 21 years old, he's Australian, and he won Wimbledon on July 7, 2002. He also has the 2001 U.S. Open championship to his credit, and he is currently the Number 1 ranked tennis player in the world. I watched his semifinal match against Tim Henman and became an instant fan. Lleyton plays with so much energy every time he steps onto the court. Also, he gets to balls that no other player would, and returns them into fair territory. The only word I can come up with to describe it is incredible! Well, I guess that's enough for my explanation. Go to his site to find out more.

WNBA

www.wnba.comThe Women's National Basketball Association is a professional women's basketball league. Many players who went to Uconn are now in the WNBA. The ones who aren't pictured here are Kelly Schumacher, Rebecco Lobo, Nykesha Sales, and Rita Williams.

From left to right: Sue Bird (Storm), Asjha Jones (Mystics), and Svetlana Abrosimova (Lynx).

Left to right: Swin Cash (Shock), Tamika Williams (Lynx), and Jennifer Rizzotti (Rockers, in blue, black, and white).
